England: Killer writes message with victim’s blood

A man stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s mother to death before leaving a message written in her blood on the wall.
The man knifed the 69-year-old woman at a semi-detached bungalow in the Bradley area of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire on Friday night. He also attacked the woman’s 37-year-old son. He is in hospital in a serious, but not life-threatening condition.
He then fled to Manchester and jumped off an eight floor car park in Hanover Street, just after midnight.
The message on the wall said: “** you” followed by his ex-partner’s name. Blood was found smeared near the door of the bungalow and later at the Manchester car park too.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Huddersfield yesterday are liaising with Greater Manchester Police after a man was found dead in Manchester city centre early today.
“Shortly after midnight, the body of a man was found at a multi-storey car park in Hanover Street.
“It is believed he had fallen from the roof.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem is expected to take place later today.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious.”
